What is a fiduciary?
A fiduciary holds a legal and ethical relationship of trust with the person whom they are serving. Therefore, a fiduciary is legally obligated to only make recommendations in the best interest of each person they are giving advice to. Aure is a registered investment advisor and we act as fiduciaries 100% of the time.
What sets Aure apart?
California Expertise: we specialize in California professionals and entrepreneurs, with deep expertise in the state's unique tax landscape and financial complexities. Transparent Flat Fee: No AUM percentage fees, no hidden costs, no withdrawal restrictions. Unlike traditional 1% AUM fees that erode long-term wealth, our fees don't change with AUM. Integrated Tax + Investment Strategy: we believe in low-cost, tax-efficient index investing, complemented by targeted options strategies for complex scenarios. Higher Yield: we buy Treasury bills directly to help deliver higher after-tax returns than most HYSA accounts or money market funds. Institutional grade tools and Security: we have partnered with America's leading financial institutions to give you top security, regulatory protection, and a personal wealth dashboard.
Who should use Aure?
Aure is designed for individuals who want to simplify their wealth while maximizing opportunities. We work best with busy professionals looking for: • Cash management solution that offers a competitive yield while maintaining high liquidity and strong capital preservation. • Local California tax expertise across income, equities, real estate, and other passive income sources, with experience in high-tax-bracket planning. • Flat-fee, cost-efficient wealth management that helps you keep more of your wealth working and compounding over the long term. • Help with complex financial management, such as diversifying concentrated stock positions while maintaining liquidity and control.
Where will my assets be held?
Your investment is held at Charles Schwab, an independent custodian. The accounts stay in your name, and we act as your advisor with limited authority to manage them on your behalf. We don't work for Charles Schwab or earn commissions, so every recommendation we make is in your best interest.
How does transferring of assets work?
Transferring your investment accounts is simple and secure through the ACAT system, which moves assets "in-kind". This means nothing is sold or changed during the transfer. Whether you are moving a taxable brokerage or retirement IRA account, your investments stay exactly the same. We do not make any changes to your portfolio until you approve a personalized plan built around your goals and tax strategy.
Do I have to move all of my assets?
No. You may keep your assets with multiple firms. We generally work best with professionals who have more than $500,000 in investable assets with Aure. This ensures our flat-fee structure remains appropriate and beneficial for all our customers.
Can I opt for the Tax Management plan only?
Yes. Tax management is offered as a standalone product.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your plan at any time with 30 days' notice. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. We believe in earning your business every month through exceptional service.
I can do this myself, why do I need Aure?
While you may feel confident handling financial tasks independently, Aure provides tailored advice, expertise, objectivity, saves you time, and adapts your plan to changing circumstances, ensuring your long-term financial wellness and peace of mind. Plus, our fees are tax deductible for entrepreneurs or rental property owners.
As a California-based firm, Aure is well-versed in California's unique tax and financial complexities
